About Us
Our Logo
The State Tree of Nevada is the Bristlecone Pine, one of the oldest living things on earth. It is hardy, drought-resistant, and determined to grow where other things cannot. It is used as a symbol for Adult Education in Nevada because it reflects tenacity, durability, and dedication to purpose.
Our Mission
The mission of the Nevada Adult Educators (NAE) organization is to promote and support lifelong learning in Nevada by:
- Fostering collaboration, communication, networking, and the sharing of ideas and resources among members, providers, and stakeholders.
- Promoting and providing educational and career development opportunities for adult educators.
- Expanding public awareness of the importance of literacy, adult education, and lifelong learning.
- Supporting adult, continuing, and community education.
- We are a non-profit, non-union professional association.
